Someone Upstairs Someone Upstairs (formerly known as Beef City…iykyk) has emerged from years of incubation onto the New York scene. The band is made up of five New Yorkers who’ve been jammin and writing since they converged in 2023. Someone Upstairs leads with a rock heart that bleeds into a unique blend of neosoul, funk, and blues sounds while never abandoning the occasional punk anthem.
